At Risk Advisory we are committed to the development and growth of our people. We recognise that it is our people that make us who we are and give us the ability to deliver quality service for clients. To that end, we have invested in an industry leading Learning & Development programme led by the Head of Learning & Development, Onaiza Fice.

Our approach to learning and development is about much more than training in the conventional sense; it goes beyond a collection of training sessions, and beyond your first few weeks at the company. It’s also about learning in all of its forms: not just what you take away from a training session. But most critically, it is about supporting our people’s long-term career aspirations by identifying their unique skill sets, developing them holistically, and equipping them with the skills they need to fulfil their professional goals.

We value the diversity and individuality of all our people, and our Learning and Development programmes are tailored to reflect this. Each individual is unique in how they see their growth and development at Risk Advisory, and our team of Learning and Development professionals work with every employee in supporting them to personalise their career journey and path. Our programme strives to provide individualised support, opportunities and training at critical points in their career to help them deliver in their current role while preparing them for the next.

We support staff through a wide variety of structured, peer-to-peer, and on-the-job learning interventions. These programmes are geared towards developing the tradecraft, client-facing and leadership skills our people need at each level. We are also proud to invest in a number of other exciting initiatives, including:

Coaching – every employee regardless of role, level or function has access to one to one coaching from a qualified coach. TRAG’s coaches provide every employee with a safe and confidential space to reflect, think and share what’s on their mind whether it’s about their career development,  performance, aspirations or well-being. The coaches role is to provide insights, encourage, support and empower the employee so that they can grow, achieve their full potential  and achieve their goal.

Mentoring programme – all employees are encouraged to have a mentor in the business to support their on-the-job learning and performance. All our mentors are fully trained and equipped to support their mentees.

Mental health and wellbeing – we provide a number of wellbeing and mindfulness initiatives to support our staff bring balance to their work, with a number of our staff having completed mental health first aid training.
